Dhaulagiri region, one of the most beautiful remote areas of Nepal, is an adventurous and challenging trekking trail destination for trekking enthusiasts offering them the panoramic view of Dhaulagiri massif, beautiful hidden valleys, high passes and sweeping vistas. Dhaulagiri I is the seventh highest peak in the world and its altitude is 8,167 meters (26,795 ft) measured from sea level.
Dhaulagiri which means “White Mountains” in Nepali literally is located in the western part of Nepal beyond the Annapurna region.
