Manaslu trekking would appeal to anyone who is looking for a challenging trek in a remote region of the Nepal Himalaya. The trail passes through a geographically spectacular and culturally fascinating area with scenery similar to the classic Annapurna Circuit. The low-to-high range of altitudes presents such varied flora and fauna and mostly a wide cultural spectrum which includes strong influences from Tibet mixing with typical and diverse Nepalese culture and ethnicity. Well, the contrasting ascent and descent gradients and the spacing of lodges at the higher altitudes represent the area as the best trekking destination of Nepal.
We start our Manaslu Trekking after your arrival at Kathmandu followed by cultural sightseeing around world heritage sites. Initially we take a long drive from Kathmandu to the town of Arughat passing through bamboo forests and Gurung villages for about 6 hours. After arrival at Arughat, which is also the starting point of our Manaslu trekking activity, we cross suspension bridges, make our way through beautiful forests, Gurung villages and arrive at Maccha Khola.
Further, we make our way through several ascends, descends , natural and cultural exploration while passing through Budhi Gandaki river, ridges, villages, of Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Samagaon and hike to nearby old monastery named Pung Gyen Gompa. For proper acclimatization, we take a day rest at Sama Gaun. After trekking some days we get to the highest point of the trek, Larke La Pass.Continue...
