If you prefer exploring the wilderness in a quaint atmosphere that is free from the crowd of trekkers, then Rolwaling   Trek is the best option for you. Rolwaling is one of the least explored region of Nepal that rewards trekkers with fascinating mountain views, rich culture and varied floras and faunas.
Expect to walk through the terrain located above 5000m altitude. Rolwaling Trekking route progresses vertical through dense forest. The most challenging task of Rolwaling trek would be to cross Tashi Lapcha Pass located at 5640 m which links Rolwaling region with world famous Khumbu region. We will also visit Chho Rolpa glaciated Lake. Since Rolwaling Trek is a challenging task, it would be better to have previous trekking in high altitude experience.
September to November is considered best season for Rolwaling Trek. Due to its difficult access, Rolwaling was once used as the stronghold by rebellions- Maoist during the time of insurgency. But, once Maoist accepted the main stream politics and signed a peace treaty, Rolwaling region is now absolutely safe for all travelers.
Tashi Lapcha Pass rewards us with incredible views of Rolwaling Valley while we can also get opportunity of having close-up views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Gaurishankar, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Ama Dablam, Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku, kwangde, Cholaste, Tw Ache and other peaks and mountains during our trek.
